Robert C. Rogers

     Robert C. "Fat" Rogers Sr., 89, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

     Born August 8, 1936 in Caldwell, he was a son to the late Robert Rogers and the former Florence Baer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Shirley Ann Rhinehart on July 8, 1991. They were united in marriage on August 24, 1964.

     For many years, he worked at JS Steel and Rummings Blue Stone and was an avid JS Bulldogs Football fan.

     He is survived by two sons, Robert C. (Beth) Rogers Jr., of Lock Haven and Chester E. Rogers, of Lock Haven; a daughter, Sheila M. Bremingen, of Lock Haven; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Rogers, of Avis.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Rest Haven Memorial Park.
